The journal of Eutopia Art and Culture (ISSN 2978-0721) was launched in May 2025 as an extension of the Eutopia Arthouse Film Festival, a student-led cultural initiative founded earlier this year.

It features both academic and creative work exploring themes of identity, culture, aesthetics, and representation.
The journal was co-founded by three PhD candidates at Queen’s University 91TVÓ°Ôº91TVÓ°Ôº: Siyang Gu (History Studies), Tianpeng Yao (Film Studies), and Xiaoxiang Ma (Film Studies). As founding editors, we aim to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and spotlight emerging voices across the arts and humanities. We are also especially grateful to our fellow editors and contributors - in particular Lauren McShane (French Studies) - for their dedication and enthusiasm throughout this process.

This event will mark the release of our first issue and is open to QUB students and staff, and will include light vegetarian refreshments.
As the venue has limited capacity, attendance is capped at 30 participants, with registration on a first-come, first-served basis.
To assist attendees, we will provide signage and have a team member stationed near the QFT entrance to guide guests to the Film Studio.
